Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) is popular becuase of its many potentials - all weather, pan global coverage, accuracy, small form factor and low cost. Curreltly GPS and GLONASS are fully operational and GALILEO, BEIDOU, QZNSS and IRNSS are very fast emerging systems.

Our group is from The Department of Physics, The University of Burdwan, West Bengal, India (23 deg 15.2755' N, 087 deg 50.8071 E). We are engaged in R&D activities on GNSS basically focussed on:

1) Exploring multi-GNSS environment using GPS and GLONASS
2) Development of low-cost applications

We have completed several projects sponsored by Govt. of India agencies and a member of Muti GNSS Asia
